Grief and the Holidays Workshop

The holiday season can be especially difficult when you’re grieving someone you love. Familiar traditions, gatherings and celebrations may bring up memories and emotions that can be difficult to navigate.

Kemp Care Network’s Grief and the Holidays workshop offers an opportunity to connect with others, remember loved ones and explore ways to manage grief during the holiday season.

Led by our Adult Bereavement Counselor, Gabriele McSween, the workshop will explore the different emotions people may experience during the holidays, offer practical suggestions for coping and share meaningful ways to remember and honour loved ones.

Laura Jin, Child Life Specialist (CLS), will also share guidance on supporting children who are grieving during the holidays and answer participants’ questions.

Whether your loss is recent or happened years ago, you are welcome to attend.
