How to talk to kids about dying, death, and grief
Event Date:
September 12, 2024
Event Time:
7:00 pm
Event Location:
Discussing death with children and young adults can be challenging and many tend to avoid the conversations altogether. But death, just like birth, is a natural part of our lives. As parents, guardians, and caregivers, it is our responsibility to ensure young people know it’s okay to talk about death and learn healthy ways of coping with grief.
There will be two sessions, you can join any one of them:
- Virtual: Sept 12th at 7:00 p.m. – 9:20 p.m. EDT
- In-person: Oct 19th at Hamilton Library’s Concession Branch (time to be announced soon)
